2 children found dead in Bulacan

The fate of 2 children who were found dead Wednesday in a remote and mountainous area in Barangay Gumaoc East, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan was horrific.

The 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped because she was found naked. Her neighbor, an 8-year-old boy, was also dead.

According to the girl’s parent, the victim said she will play at noon on Tuesday.

The male neighbor plays with the child.

When her daughter still did not return home, the family was nervous so they searched all night but did not find her immediately.

It was Wednesday at 1 pm when the bodies of the victims were found nearby.

The stone that was allegedly used in the murder is still there.

So far, the barangay and police have persons of interest, but no one has been caught behind the crime.

Police are still awaiting the result of the Scene of the Crime Operatives investigation.

They continue to search for who is behind the crime.

The families of the children are also asking for help.

Meanwhile, authorities on Wednesday rescued 3 children who were allegedly used as drug couriers in the city of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

The children, aged 12 to 13, were rescued after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA-3) conducted a buy-bust in Pleasant Hill Subdivision, Barangay San Manuel in the said town.

Allegedly from the tip that there were illegal drug activities in the area, the authorities launched an entrapment operation against the target alias Abdul.


2 suspected holduppers arrested in Sta. Cruz, Manila

Two youths were caught in Oplan Sita of Sta. Cruz Police Wednesday night.

The 18-year-old and 21-year-old men rode a motorcycle to evade a checkpoint near a mall on the Herrera corner Rizal Avenue.

Since they had no helmets and their evasion was suspicious, the police charged them.

In a hurry, the motorcycle they were riding crashed, and two others were injured.

The 9mm and .22 caliber guns they were carrying were also exposed.

According to Police Col. John Guiagui, commander of Sta. Cruz Police, the two were allegedly involved in embezzlement and robbery snatching in Taguig, Caloocan, and Manila.
