A man was hacked before being beheaded by his neighbor after they allegedly fought in Tibag town, Tarlac City.
In a Facebook video uploaded by the Tarlac Ka Kung page, the victim’s body can be seen on the road while his head is separated in the distance in Paroba 1, Brgy. Tibag.
Based on the initial investigation by the police on Tuesday, there was an argument between the victim and the suspect that ended up in a fight until the suspect allegedly lost his mind and stabbed the victim.
“‘Yun pong suspek natin ay mayroon pong diperensya sa isip. Bago po magtanghali, ay parang nagtalo sila nung kapitbahay niya at nagwawala itong suspek at nataga niya sa leeg itong biktima. Nung nataga niya yung ulo niya, kinuha pa, itinakbo sa kalye kung saan patuloy siyang nagwawala sa gitna ng main road natin,” said Pol. Lt. Col. Jake Manguerra, chief Tarlac City Police.

The suspect also wanted to hack the police.
“Nadatnan po natin itong suspek na bitbit po sa kaliwa ‘yung ulo ng biktima at isang tabak na nasa kanang kamay naman po niya. Pinapakalma natin ito pero imbes na kumalma po ay itinakbo po niya ito mga kapulisan natin at doon po napilitan na immobilize o barilin po itong paa ng ating suspek,” said Manguerra.

The suspect was immediately arrested and rushed to the provincial hospital for treatment.
Police said the suspect was reportedly using illegal drugs.
The 42-year-old suspect will face murder charges.
