Because of the crime that happened in the dormitory, it was inevitable that others would be afraid.

In Manila, the police inspected some dormitories to find out what needs to be fixed regarding security. According to the records of the Manila Police District (MPD), there are approximately 20 dormitories in the university belt area.

The authorities noticed that the cheap dormitories did not have security guards and CCTV cameras.

The police have also checked some houses made for rent for students in the university belt area. Some security relief was also noted.

“Dapat che-check-in n’yo ‘yung hallway niyo kung merong naiwang susi para ire-remind niyo may naiwan kang susi dito kasi madaling i-duplicate,” Police Chief Master Sergeant Laurencio Bernardo of MPD station 14 reminded.
