Authorities arrested a carpenter after he was accused of molesting five girls playing in Iligan City.
GMA News TV Live reported Wednesday that the suspect was identified as Eric Castillon, 54.
According to police, Castillon had been drinking with his friends, and when he got drunk, he called the five victims who were playing.
The victims said to the police the suspect gave them P20 each. The carpenter then put them on his lap and touched the different parts of their bodies.
The children told their parents what happened, which resulted in the suspect’s arrest. Castillon, meanwhile, denied the allegations against him.
But based on the medical examination of the children, three of them were positively molested.
The carpenter will face appropriate charges for molesting the five girls.

Fake lawyer falsifying annulment case decisions arrested
Authorities arrested a woman and a fake lawyer who is forging annulment case decisions in Lucena city.
According to the “Saksi” report, Victoria Delos Reyes was arrested in the entrapment operation of NBI-Lucena City in connection with a forgery of an annulment case.
A doctor coordinated with NBI to launch the entrapment operation.
Delo Reyes allegedly offered legal services for an annulment case to the doctor in 2018. The suspect introduced herself as a lawyer and that she has many connections in the judiciary.
When the doctor met with Delos Reyes to give her the remaining payment worth P50,000, the NBI arrested the suspect.
Delos Reyes vehemently denied the allegations against here. She said she did not introduce herself as a lawyer.
The alleged fake lawyer is facing estafa complaints and usurpation of authority or official functions.
