Netizens had varying reactions to Abegail Rait, who made claims about her relationship with the late Francis Magalona and their alleged daughter.

In a vlog posted by Boss Toyo Production titled “Pinoy Pawnstar Ep. 267 – Worth 700K? King of Rap Signature (Another HolyGrail),” Abegail sold a jersey supposedly worn by Francis M and a photo with a handwritten letter dedicated to her, all for P500,000.

According to Abegail Rait, she first met Francis M. when she attended a live episode of “Eat Bulaga,” and the rapper managed to obtain her phone number.

She emphasized that their relationship was genuine and that she’s now speaking out to let people know about her and her daughter, Gaile Francesca.

In the comments section, some netizens expressed sympathy for Abegail, acknowledging her decision to share her truth publicly after 15 years. However, there were also sentiments of empathy for Francis’s legal wife, Pia Magalona, and their family.

A YouTube user mentioned that they experienced goosebumps while watching the vlog.

“Huwag po natin i-judge si Ma’am Abby, nagmahal lang po siya, at hindi po niya kasalanan yon. Naging tapat lng siya,” he said.

On the other hand, some viewers noted that they could observe a resemblance between Francis M. and Abegail’s alleged daughter, Gaile.

“Walang kasalanan ang bata pero hindi ko lang bet tono ng pananalita ng mama niya na parang utang pa ng pamilya ni Francis Magalona kung bakit siya nanahimik for 15 years,” one user said.

Conversely, other netizens asserted that cheating is an unacceptable behavior that should neither be tolerated nor celebrated.

Francis Magalona, also known as the “Master Rapper,” passed away on March 6, 2009. Some of his most famous tracks include “Mga Kababayan,” “Kaleidoscope World,” and “Man from Manila.

Francis Magalona’s death followed a battle with a rare form of leukemia, known as acute myeloid leukemia (AML). He was diagnosed with the illness in 2008.

During his battle with AML, Francis was a vocal advocate for cancer awareness, emphasizing the importance of early detection and treatment.
