Next week, Barack Obama will be the first sitting president to visit Cuba in nearly 90 years.
The last sitting president to visit Cuba was Calvin Coolidge in January 1928.

The United States Secret Service posted a historic photo on their twitter account – showing Coolidge in a parade through Havana.
Calvin Coolidge visited Cuba to address the Pan-American Conference with other leaders of the Western Hemisphere.
After the Cuban revolution in 1961, ties between the US and Cuba were severed.

President Obama has moved towards normalising relations with the communist country, as well as easing US trade embargoes against the country.
