Molotov bombs used by young people in riot may have caused fire

Some households were put in danger after youths used Molotov bombs in their riots in Malabon City and Caloocan City. Police arrested six of them.

In a report by Jonathan Andal on GTV “Balitanghali” on Wednesday, Kaye Lomongo’s photo shows that some youths are still on the road in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City even though it is already two in the morning and curfew time.

One group was carrying a stick while the other side was carrying a Molotov cocktail.

The power cord nearly caught fire when a Molotov cocktail landed.

The youths just shuddered when they heard the siren of the police.

Tugatog, Malabon.

Six youths were arrested that day, of which five were 18-years-old, and one of them was 17-years-old.

Adults will face charges of alarm and scandal and illegal possession of bladed weapons.

The minor was placed in the care of the social welfare department of Malabon.

Police said it was not the first time the youths had rioted.

This is also the scene in Caloocan City where they also used Molotov cocktails.

Caloocan City Police said a group of Caloocan and Malabon residents rioted.

“Nagdedepensahan sila ng teritoryo, which should not be the case.

The police made no arrests, but they have identified the Caloocan children in the video, who will be summoned along with the parents.

A Molotov cocktail, also known as a petrol bomb, is a generic name used for various bottle-based improvised incendiary weapons.
