Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo and Kapuso actor Jeric Gonzales have been confirmed as lovers.
Rabiya is 25 years old, while Jeric is 29.
Rabiya publicized her relationship with Jeric based on the beauty queen-turned-actress’ Instagram post.
On Wednesday night, March 16, 2022, Rabiya showed some sweet moments she and Jeric shot in Bohol.
They had a picture overlooking Chocolate Hills where they had a sweet smile as they stared at each other.
They have another shot of hugging while looking at the famous tourist spot in Bohol.
In another photo, they are wearing a life vest, and their view is of the beach.
Jeric sealed it with a thrilling “I love you” message for Rabiya.
Jeric replied to Rabiya in the post’s comment section: “Let’s be happy together. I love you.”
Three hours later, Jeric posted pictures of him and Rabiya on Instagram.
One of these was also taken on the Chocolate Hills viewing deck.
“To more memories with you, @rabiyamateo I love you,” Jeric said in the caption of his IG post.
In December 2021, netizens were talking that Rabiya and Jeric seemed to have feelings for each other.
They were spotted touring the Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

Jeric Gonzales is Rabiya Mateo’s new boyfriend
Rabiya and Jeric worked on an episode of Wish Ko Lang, the Kapuso weekly drama anthology, in November 2021.
It is not known to the public that when Rabiya joined Miss Universe Philippines, she admitted that she had a longtime non-showbiz boyfriend, Neil Salvacion.
But after Rabiya’s Miss Universe stint in May 2021, it was reported that her seven-year relationship with Neil had ended.
She said that things between her and Neil have become “complicated.” However, they were still “friends.”
Neil revealed that they had split up a month later but added that they were “both okay” and “happy” in their individual lives.
He also pleaded with the public to spare Rabiya the bashing, saying they don’t deserve all the negativity directed at them.
