In his Facebook post on Sunday, March 13, Rosales shared the alleged incident at a branch of a convenience store in Ali Mall Cubao.

He said he was shopping at 7-eleven when a man came in and said it was very easy to get drinks from the vending machine and leave without paying. The cashier allegedly approached him and asked him if it was with him, but he denied it.

He also asked him what cup the man took, he said in Filipino, “Kuya laughed and said” yes sir. Did you see what tumbler he took?” I said “yes, do you need to know that?” The Cashier said “yes sir. Because we are in the inventory when we are audited.” I told he took a BBM cup.”

According to Rosales, he was the only one who paid for what the man allegedly took, and here he also said that a leader who has principles and does not steal must be elected.

“35 pesos lang naman pala. Jusko ninakaw pa. Anyway share ko lang. Masama po mag nakaw kailangan po natin bumoto ng leader na may prinsipyo at di nag nanakaw. Sarap kaya Uminom ng Gulp sa 7/11 pag alam mong di NAKAW or UTANG yung pambayad sa cashier,” said Rosales.

However, Valentine Rosales drew criticism because many netizens said that the branch mentioned by Rosales in the post was closed.

Netizens also noticed the edit history of his post that the first branch was “7/11 Ali Mall Cubao” which became “7/11 near Ali Mall branch.”

Meanwhile, due to the heated discussion about such a branch, Balita contacted 7-eleven. They confirmed that the branch at Ali Mall Cubao referred to by Rosales was closed.

Valentine Rosales was one of the investigated friends of deceased flight attendant Christine Dacera on January 1, 2021.
