The suspect was identified as Michael Petras, 51 years old. He was arrested after the 22-year-old victim approached the police this Wednesday.

“Nag-conduct kaagad tayo ng follow-up operation, inabutan natin paalis na ito (suspek), alas singko ng hapon,” said Police Lieutenant Colonel Jerry Castillo, chief of Novaliches Police Station.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the suspect allegedly sent the victim to the x-ray room.

Due to the trauma, the victim could not ask for help and instead reported to her husband after returning home.

It was learned that Petras had been working as an x-ray technician for over two decades. He admitted to the crime and apologized to the victim.

According to Castillo, the doctors at the hospital did not know what Petras was doing.

Petras will face an Act of Lasciviousness complaint. The police are calling on other possible victims of the suspect to contact them to file an additional complaint.
