Willie Revillame dismayed after Miss Manila no-show in ‘Wowowin’

TV host Willie Revillame expressed his disappointment when Miss Manila Alexandra Abdon did not show up as a guest in his show “Wowowin.”

On Monday, Revillame told the viewers that Abdon was supposed to appear on his show but failed to do so because she had a shoot.

“Sinabi natin sa kanya nung Friday gi-guest natin siya. Eh nag-commit ka. Sayang, dapat ikaw ang co-host ko, Miss Manila,” he said.

(We told her on Friday that she would be our guest. She committed. It was unfortunate. You would have been my co-host, Miss Manila.)

“Isang oras at kalahati ka sa TV. Diba sandali ka lang sa Miss Universe, talo ka pa. Diba? ‘Di nag-iisip eh,” Willie Revillame joked.

(You would be an hour and a half on TV. You appeared shortly in Miss Universe, you still lose. She was not thinking.)

Revillame added he did not ask Hipon Girl Herlene Budol and Miss Universe Philippines 2020 2nd Runner-Up Michele Gumabao to appear on the show because he thought Abdon was coming to be his co-host.

“Sorry, hindi ka namin magi-guest na. Hindi mo kami binigyan ng pagkakataon na makilala at makasama ka,” he said.

(Sorry, we will not guest you anymore. You did not give us a chance to know you and be with you.)

“I’m sorry, Miss Manila. That’s it. Maybe see you in another life,” Willie Revillame added.

In another Wowowin episode, Revillame learned that Miss Manila wanted to air her side. He told her he was willing to listen.

“Hindi ako nagalit,” he clarified. “Sabi mo pupunta ka nung Monday, you have to be professional. Pag nag-commit ka…you have to commit.”

(I did not get mad. You said you were coming last Monday. You have to be professional. If you committed, you have to commit.)

“Ako ‘pag sinasabi kong pupunta ako, kahit anong mangyari gagawa akong paraan. Ganun dapat, it’s a commitment. Paano ka paniniwalaan ng tao kung ‘di ka nag-co-commit. Mag-commit ka tapos di mo tutuparin?” he added.

(When I say I will go, no matter what happens, I will make way. It’s a commitment. How can people believe you if you do not commit? Will you commit, and then you will not fulfill?)
