Vice Ganda supports Vhong Navarro’s ‘Mang Kepweng’

Vhong Navarro, star of the movie “Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim” admitted that he was relieved that he will now not be able to compete in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2020 with some big stars like Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, and Vic Sotto.

“Siyempre ‘yung totoo nabawasan ‘yung kaba ko, konti. Kasi siyempre iba ‘yung Vice, iba ‘yung Bossing (Vic), iba ‘yung Coco eh. ‘Di ba kapag film fest, every year ‘yan, makikita mo sila, talagang banggaan ‘yan sa takilya,” Vhong said this Tuesday at the digital media launch of “Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim.”

Although his happy that his film is among the official participants in MMFF 2020, Navarro shared the sadness that the hard-earned project will not be seen in the cinema.

Vice has also extended his support for Navarro’s film. Ion Perez, Vice’s boyfriend, is part of Navarro’s movie.

Just this Tuesday, Star Cinema released the official trailer of “Mang Kepweng: The Secret of the Black Bandan,” which is one of the 10 participants in the MMFF.
