Various groups continue to protest results of Election 2022

On the third day of the “Kampuhan ng Mamamayan Laban sa Dayaan” held at Liwasang Bonifacio in Ermita, Manila, various groups continued to unite to protest the election results.

Three days after Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. won as president and Sara Duterte as vice president, creative artists created a mural showing their frustration and anger at the vote count.

Anakpawis, Kilosang Mayo Uno, Gabriela, Bayan, and Kabataan Party-list believe that Election 2022 was rigged, and they want the Comelec to be held accountable for it.

According to Sinag Bayan spokesperson Faye Aldefolio, with the number of damaged vote counting machines (VCMs), the speed of the transmittal of votes is astounding.

They said they would not stop until they were sure that the Comelec would be transparent in processing the votes. When Marcos and Duterte are proclaimed, they will call on the Filipinos even more.

They will hold a Black Friday protest on Friday, along with some church groups. The groups will allegedly march from Liwasang Bonifacio to PICC, where the national canvassing occurs.

After that, they will return to their communities, and they will encourage and explain that not everyone should agree with the result of Election 2022.
