Only her sister Alex Gonzaga is the only celebrity left in the following list of actress-host Toni Gonzaga on Instagram a few hours after she announced her farewell to Pinoy Big Brother.
This also follows her open participation in the grand proclamation rally of BBM-Sara UniTeam on Tuesday, February 8, which also disappointed some Kapamilya artists.
Twenty-two accounts that seem to be close to Toni, including husband Paul Soriano, brother Alex Gonzaga and his wife Mikee Morada, are the only ones to be noticed in the actress’ following list.
Toni currently has 7 million followers on Instagram.
Multimedia artist Toni Gonzaga confirmed that she would no longer serve as the primary host of the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB).
During the grand proclamation of the UniTeam led by Bongbong Marcos (BBM) and Sara Duterte, Toni Gonzaga gave a hearty introduction to Marcos-allied senatorial candidate Rodante Marcoleta.
Marcoleta was one of the lawmakers who rejected ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal application in 2020.

“It has been my greatest honor to host ‘PBB’ for 16 years,” she said.
“From witnessing all my co-hosts transition from housemates to ‘PBB’ hosts are just some of the best moments in my life sa Bahay ni Kuya,” she said.
“Today, I’m stepping down as your main host,” Toni Gonzaga wrote. “I know Bianca and the rest of the hosts will continue the ‘PBB’ legacy.”
Gonzaga added, “It has been my privilege greet you all with ‘Hello Philippines’ and ‘Hello World’ for the last 16 years.”
“I will forever cherish the memories, big nights, and moments in my heart. Thank you Kuya for everything. This is your angel, now signing off.”
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN said it respected Gonzaga’s decision and thanked her for serving as a host of PBB.
Toni Gonzaga is a resident of Taytay, Rizal and the eldest daughter of former punong barangay, councilor and vice mayor Carlito “Bonoy” and Crisanta “Pinty” Gonzaga, who also acts as her talent manager. Her sister, Catherine “Cathy” Gonzaga, professionally known as Alex Gonzaga, is also an actress and television host.
