Tom Rodriguez revealed that he was handed a “gag order” amid allegations that his annulment from ex-wife Carla Abellana is now being finalized.
Fans reacted differently after the actor shared a snapshot of an explosion with a cryptic message on his Instagram profile last Saturday, June 4. The message was later removed, but netizens re-uploaded it on social media.
“Things go south, mushroom clouds. No one’s left around. Money bought, power talked but no one’s listening now. And empires claimed, up in flames, burnt to the ground. History repeats, video reels going round and round,” he said.
After one @isabellefajardo6 asked him about giving the “whoe truth” in the comments area, Rodriguez addressed the alleged gag order.
“Why not tell the whole truth now? Why wait?” the netizen asked. Tom Rodriguez replied, “Gag order, Ask THEM why,” without adding more details.
A gag order is a judge’s order that a case may not be discussed in public.
Rodriguez also responded to one @tattooottt who urged him to fight for Abellana, claiming that the actress still loves him.

“Not true. And you all know a tiny fraction of an entire story. But one day the whole TRUTH will prevail!” the actor replied.
Aside from his post and responses to netizen comments, Rodriguez used Instagram Stories to share a snapshot of a man with a tape on his mouth. He later removed the post as well.
Prior to this, Rodriguez released a cryptic image of someone breaking free from chains, which coincided with entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin’s assertion in her YouTube video on May 26 that Abellana was filing documents for an annulment.
Rodriguez and Abellana, who married in October of last year, were thought to be divorced after fans observed the two unfollowed, then following each other on Instagram. Last March, the actress’ father, actor Rey “PJ” Abellana, disclosed that his daughter and Rodriguez were indeed having marital issues, citing a “one-night stand.” This assertion was later retracted by Rey.
In January, rumors spread that newly-wed couple Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana have broken up after netizens noticed they unfollowed each other on Instagram.
