A female teacher and her husband died after being shot by a school principal in Negros Occidental. The suspect also allegedly shot himself after committing the crime.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Arnel Solis, Public Information Office of the Philippine National Police-Region 6 (PNP), identified the suspect as Warren Escosar, 56-years-old.
Escosar is the principal of Bilbao Uybico National High School in Barangay Pook in Hinoba-an town.
During the initial investigation by the authorities, Escosar allegedly shot and killed senior high school teacher Alvarisa Arroy and her husband.
After committing the crime, the suspect also allegedly shot himself, causing his death.
According to Major John Ganzon, chief of the Hinobaan Municipal Police Station, the WCPD waited for Aroy to file an official complaint against her principal, but they only received information about the shooting.
Ganzon added that the teacher went to the school early in the morning, and her husband, Cristopher Aroy, 35, was riding a motorcycle, but they met the principal in the parking lot, and an argument ensued and resulted in the shooting.

According to police, the three were already dead when the responding authorities arrived after someone reported the shooting incident.
An investigation into the motive of the crime is still underway.
According to Brigada News Fm 103.1 Bacolod, Arroy was supposed to file a sexual harassment complaint against the principal.
Based on the police investigation, the principal was already carrying a firearm in his Nissan Navarra shotgun and cal. 45 pistols.
The principal first shot the teacher’s husband and immediately took his life while the teacher was still trying to escape and hide in the vacant classroom, but the principal chased him and shot him in the head with a shotgun.
Ganzon also stated that after the principal shot the couple dead, he returned to his car, took the cal.45 pistol, and used it to shoot himself.
The police view the motive as the great embarrassment on the part of the principal to create a complaint of sexual harassment by the teacher as a reason for committing the crime and shooting himself.
