Teacher, 2 others arrested for selling illegal drugs

Authorities arrested a teacher who was considered as a high-value-target (HVT) and two others for selling illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Merciful, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.

The suspects were identified as Miezel Dybongco, 31, married, a teacher at Misamis Annex Elementary School, and a resident of Brgy. San Roque, Ozamis City; Earl Galindo and Fredo Dybongco; both 31, and residents of Brgy. San Roque city of Ozamis.

According to the report, authorities launched a buy-bust operation against the targets at about 8 am Wednesday.

Operatives arrested the suspects for allegedly carrying two large sachets of illegal drugs, a shabu sachet weighing 50 grams.

Police also seized a unit of Toyota Vios (A5 D935) the suspects are using for selling illegal drugs and other unlawful activities.

Duterte, Esperon included in NPA hit list

PSG Chief confirmed President Rodrigo Duterte and National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon were included in New People’s Army’s (NPA) hit list.

Presidential Security Group (PSG) chief B/Gen. Jose Niembra confirmed the information. He, however, said the hitlist was never new to the president.

The Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) will celebrate its 51st founding anniversary this coming December 26th anis expected to launch an offensive move.

According to Niembra, they have long received threats against the President and have not ignored them.

In fact, the President’s life is threatened almost every day not only by the NPA but also by other armed groups, including various syndicates.

The PSG chief assured that they are doing everything possible to provide sufficient security for the President.
