Speechwriter says Noynoy Aquino a strict but good boss

For the late former president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, the Filipinos are his boss.

For Aquino’s speechwriter Gian Lao, the late president is not perfect but a good boss.

He is said to be a perfectionist, and every word that Aquino utters in front of the public must be correct.

Tapos ‘pag hindi ko ginawa, then you’re failing the Filipino people. So patay sa kanya,” Lao said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

When the former president gets angry and speaks to them, they expect it from a perfectionist leader.

It is said that Aquino often expresses his love by treating them to meals.

According to Aquino’s cousin Fr. Manoling Francisco, if former president Corazon Aquino is always at churches and convents whenever she needs advice, “PNoy” goes through it listening to gospel songs in the room.

Lao and Francisco hope that Aquino’s achievements for the country will not be erased and will continue to be remembered.

Meanwhile, Aquino supporters continue to offer flowers near his house on Times Street in Quezon City.
