Sheryn Regis confirms relationship with Mel de Guia

Singer Sheryn Regis, dubbed the Crystal Voice of Asia, found new love with Youtuber entrepreneur Mel de Guia.

Regis posted sweet photos of her and de Guia on Instagram.

Last Friday, Sheryn posted a picture of them holding hands. Singer and child star Ice Seguerra commented, “So happy for you!”

Regis then thanked Seguerra who was also a member of the LGBTQ community.

Meanwhile, De Guia also shared photos of her and Sheryn, who recently celebrated her birthday.

On Tuesday night, the singer posted on Instagram and TikTok a sweet snap of her and De Guia with a simple caption, “YES.”

In October, Sheryn Regis on “Magandang Buhay,” talked about her then-husband Earl Echiverri.

“Hindi ko alam. Ang hirap naman ng mga tanong niyo. Pwedeng dalawa. Kasi nandoon naman siya at saka respeto ko kay Tito Earl all the time, na lagi siyang sumusuporta sa akin. Nagsusumbong talaga ako roon,” Regis said.

“Kung ano ang problema ko, like kagabi kakausap ko lang, alam mo ‘yung ‘sige okay lang ‘yan, kaya mo ‘yan.’ Pero sa lahat ng desisyon ko, lahat ng gusto ko sa buhay ay nandiyan lang. So ‘comeback’ and ‘move on,'” the singer. Sheryn has a daughter with Echiverri.

Sheryn is a singer born in Carcar, Cebu. She won second prize after losing to Erik Santos in January 2004 in Star in a Million. Sheryn was known for her renditions of songs such as “Come In Out of the Rain” by Wendy Moten, “Maybe” by Roberta Flack and Peabo Bryson, and ” Through the Fire “by Chaka Khan. However, she is no longer just a local artist, as she is among the Champions who travel to different parts of the world to share their respective talents.

Sheryn is a self-confessed ally of the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, asexual) community.

She even performed a song for the LGBTQIA community at his concert on October 23.

Sheryn is separated from her husband and they have a daughter.

Sheryn lived in the US for two decades before returning to the Philippines in 2020.
