Secret COVID-19 vaccination in Philippines real – businessman

A Filipino businessman confirmed reports that there was a secret COVID-19 vaccination happening in the Philippines.

“Roberto” told Dobol B sa News TV on Thursday that he was injected with a China-made COVID-19 vaccine at a friend’s house last month. A Filipino doctor and a nurse were present during the vaccination. His four friends were also there.

“Yung ginamit ko [na vaccine] made in China, kasi nga nagbibiruan kami, sabi ko siguro ito yung effective kasi dun nagsimula yung virus eh,” he said.

The Philippines eyes buying vaccines from two Chinese pharmaceutical companies — Sinovac and Sinopharm.

Roberto said he researched and asked his friends who got the shot before him.

Roberto and his friends were all businessmen. They said they did not experience any side effects after receiving two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine two weeks apart.

Roberto said he is confident that the vaccine injected into them was not a placebo and that they were not scammed.

He added many of his friends already got the vaccine, noting most of them were businessmen, including foreign nationals.

Roberto revealed that he was told that some government officials, including a senator, have been immunized by the same vaccine. He did not drop names but said this was one of the reasons why was convinced to get vaccinated.

Sa amin lang naman dito we need to protect the business, yung economy natin dapat nang gumalaw,” he said.
