Robber apologizes to victims for taking their money

Police have determined the identity of the big man who was caught on cam robbing a dental clinic in Bacoor, Cavite. The suspect even apologized to his victims before leaving after getting the money earned by the clinic.

In a report by Jun Veneracion on GMA News “24 Oras” on Wednesday, it was said that the man robbed the said dental clinic in Bacoor just last week.

On the CCTV camera inside the clinic, the man can be seen pretending to be a patient, so he was allowed to enter.

Moments later, he pulled out a gun and let the employees and a female patient inside.

The man said all he needed was money.

When he got the clinic’s income, he left and fled in a car.

But before the incident, it was found out that he also robbed a dental clinic in Bacoor and stole money on October 7.

There was still a cellphone left that he could take away, but he did not.

He also robbed a pharmacy in a nearby town in Imus, Cavite.

According to the police, the culprit’s identity has been determined as John Michael Romero, who was arrested in Pasay last year for a holdup.

Romero was able to post bail but did not attend the court hearings.

“Mahuhuli at mahuhuli ka rin po (you will be caught soon),” said Police Lieutenant Janice de Guzman, PIO Bacoor City Police.

“Lahat ng masasama may kalalagyan (bad people will go to jail),” he added.

Meanwhile, a woman was found dead with bullet wounds in her rented house in Malate, Manila.

In a report by Emil Sumangil on GMA News “24 Oras” on Wednesday, some residents said they heard two gunshots before seeing the victim’s body.

On the other hand, Barangay 704 chairman Guillermo Friera said that he could not say that the victim was a resident of the area.

However, the woman is said to be on the drug watchlist.

“Mayroon pong isang nakakita doon sa pamamaril. Bukod po sa naka-mask, naka-jacket daw po na itim. Ngayon po ay nakikipag-ugnayan ako sa kapulisan,” he said.
