If you are hesitant to return home and still want to look for a job abroad, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in the Czech Republic can help.

“We will appeal. Like for example, we will ask our labor attaché in Czech Republic to make representation with the Czech Republic na kung may pupunta tayong mga kababayan du’n na i-accommodate sila… ‘Yung Poland is under the jurisdiction ng Czech Republic, Romania kasama rin,” said Bello.

According to the United States, there are 130,000 soldiers stationed on the border with Ukraine, which is said to be a step towards invading the country. US President Joe Biden insisted that Russia added more troops instead of pulling out as it was supposed to.

Thursday, Ukrainian time, there was an explosion and exchange of gunfire in Luhansk, East Ukraine, just adjacent to Kharkiv.

Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation said pro-Russian groups in the area carried it out. When there is trouble, overseas Filipino worker Jolen Calunod is ready to evacuate.

“Malapit lang po kami sa border so siguro nasa five mga tangke ‘yon, mga limang tangke na ganu’n sunud-sunuran sila. Kung sakali pong magkagulo siguro lilikas lang po ng ano sa kabilang border, ‘yun sa Poland. ‘Yung mga importanteng documents, passport, mga ID, ganu’n. Naka-bag lang po para ready to go,” said Calunod.
