Polish vlogger Damian went to a Badjao community and got fascinated by a woman who looked up and asked him, “Where are you going?”
In the episode of “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” Damian is said to be a chef who worked in London, United Kingdom. By 2010, he had retired and fulfilled his dream of traveling the world.
Until he landed in the Philippines, he was immediately obsessed with beauty.
“I fell in love from the very beginning when I came to the Philippines. I felt like I landed on another planet,” Damian said that among the destinations were Cebu, Apo Island in Negros Oriental, and Pamilacan Island in Bohol.
When he visited Panglao Island in Bohol, friends took him to visit Badjao Village, and he made a vlog about the place.
“I felt like I could connect with people in that village,” according to Damian, who said he was also previously homeless.
And as he toured the community, a woman caught Damian’s attention-Aico, who peeked out from the house and asked the foreign stranger, “Where are you going? What do you do here?”

“I was vlogging. I was holding the camera and recording the surroundings and talking with people and describing the situation then she appeared, ”said the foreigner.
“When I saw her face for the first time, I just felt like I wanted to stay there and have a conversation with her. I really felt some kind of connection, ”he continued.
Meanwhile, Aico said, “Nabigla po rin ako. Handsome po siya. Para po akong na-love at first sight (I was also shocked. He is handsome. It feels like love at first sight.)
Aico reached Grade 10, but she can speak and understand English, so it was not difficult for her and Damian to talk.
Damian asks Aico if he can visit and be with her.
Eventually, the two deepened their relationship. But Aico admitted that she was skeptical because other people might think she was a “gold digger” in her relationship with Damian.
Even Damian’s friends also advise him to stay away from Aico, a Badjao vegetable seller.
However, the two fought for their relationship and eventually got married.
