Police identify three possible suspects on Jang Lucero’s killing

Police said they already determined three possible suspects on Jang Lucero’s killing in Calamba, Laguna, last week. However, they are still gathering substantial evidence before they could release the suspects’ identities.

Tatlo po ang sumakay sa kanyang sasakyan,” Police Lieutenant Colonel Gene Licud, chief of the Calamba Police Station said.

(Two males and one female rode the victim’s car.)

Licud earlier said that Lucero and her girlfriend, Meyah Amatorio, personally knew those who were involved in the crime.

(We have seen CCTV footage that corresponds to our earlier theory that there were two men on board and one woman. There was another car which was a car we suspect was the one that dropped Jang’s riders.)

(As they passed the intersection, the car followed. It matched with the vehicle that dropped the three before boarding to Jang’s car.)

(I’ll just emphasize: Their faces, their identities, their names, we are just solidifying our evidence to confirm that they are the suspects.)

The police official appealed to the suspects to surrender to the police because if not, they could be hurt if the authorities would arrest them, said Licud.

He added they are preparing their evidence against the three persons allegedly involved in the stabbing.

“May hinahanda pa tayong katibayan bago natin sila tawaging suspect,” the police official clarified.

(We are still preparing evidence before we can call them suspects.)

(We already know them, but we gather more substantial evidence.)

Licud added that they are waiting for SOCO for further information about fingerprints found inside Lucero’s car.
