PNP spokesperson Police Brig-Gen. Bernard Banac is also in good condition, who was also aboard the helicopter.

The aircraft also had two staff members and two pilots on board.

The Bell 429 chopper was said to have been hit by a high tension wire due to dust, which caused it to collapse.

Gamboa was supposed to attend as a resource person at the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing on alleged money laundering by Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators.
