Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach admitted that she once thought of getting a breast reduction, sharing her moments that she felt insecure about her body.
In her “true or false” segment on Instagram Stories, the beauty queen talked about the time she became self-conscious about her large breasts, saying she was often teased in school.
“Bata pa ako nai-insecure talaga ako sa katawan ko, especially dito,” she said, pointing to her chest.
“Kasi siyempre inaasar ako sa school, ganyan. Nahihiya ako. Pero as I got older, I learned how to be more confident,” Pia Wurtzbach added.
She then admitted that she once considered getting her breast size reduced.
“There was a time when I was much younger na I was thinking about it (breast reduction). But then hindi ko siya tinuloy kasi nalaman ko na malaki ‘yung mga scars na maiiwan niya. So buti na lang,” she said.
“I also realized na ‘di ako dapat magpaapekto sa mga sinasabi ng ibang tao. So I accepted myself na lang.”

Pia Wurtzbach is currently in Morocco as she waits to return home to the Philippines.
She recently had a vacation in the Maldives with her boyfriend, entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncey, after spending time in the United Kingdom.
“True! I miss you, Iris, she’s the one who sent this answer,” she said of the statement that she is in Morocco, referring to Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere.
“This will be my temporary base until I go back to the Philippines kasi hindi puwedeng mag-UK,” she added.
In June 2020, actress Michelle Madrigal revealed in her latest vlog that she underwent breast implant removal.
Madrigal, who is now a fitness enthusiast, said she hasn’t felt “breast implant illness” symptoms — like chronic fatigue, random sharp chest pains, and unexplainable itchiness on her breast area after the implant removal.
She said she decided to have the implants because she felt insecure, and having full breasts was what’s promoted as sexy in the media.
Michelle then realized to “live longer” and healthier with her husband and child is more important to she had them removed.
