Pastor Quiboloy ready to appear in court but not in Senate

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the religious group, Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), has declared that he will not appear before the Senate hearing even if a subpoena is sent to him. This is related to the allegations of those who identified themselves as his former members who allegedly abused him.

In Dano Tingcungco’s report on GMA News “24 Oras” this Wednesday, a video from the SMNI Network was shown, showing Quiboloy falsifying one by one the accusations of the witnesses who appeared before the hearing of the Senate committee on women and children led by Sen. Risa Hontiveros.

In said hearing this Tuesday, Quiboloy was accused of abuse by his former members, two of whom were from Ukraine.

According to Quiboloy, he is ready to answer and face those who accuse him in the “court of law.”

“Even if you pay 100 more witnesses I will face you anytime, anywhere in a court of law. Just do it and I will face you anywhere, anytime in a court of law. If you cannot do that then you are all bogus, you are all false and you don’t deserve my respect,” he said.

Quiboloy also mentioned the allegations against him in America that caused him to be placed on the wanted list of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for cases of rape, human trafficking, and others.

“Kahit po sa Amerika, it is the same scenario as it is here. Kailangan malaman natin ang katotohanan dito, not in your Senate hearing but in a court of law.”
