She said she delayed her vaccination because she did not know the effects of the vaccine on her baby.

“Sabi ko hindi muna ako magpapa-vaccine, after ko na lang manganak kasi di ko naman alam magiging epekto sa akin at sa baby ko, (I won’t get vaccinated first, I will do it after I had my baby because I don’t really know the vaccine’s effect to me and my child),” Dianna explained.

The interview of Diana went viral where she cried after she was denied riding the Edsa bus carousel during the first day of the “no vaccine, no ride” rule implementation. She only had the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dianna is a call center agent. She said authorities should have been more considerate.

“Sana man lang nagbigay sila ng konsiderasyon na nakasakay. Hindi naman sila sure… Even fully vaccinated nagiging carrier ng COVID-19. (They should’ve given consideration. They are not sure about it. Even fully vaccinated people can become carriers of the virus.),” she said.

Her second dose is scheduled to be injected in February.

After the incident, officials clarified that the “no vaccination, no ride” policy on public transportation does not include workers entering work, even if they have not been vaccinated or have only had one dose of vaccine.

“They are exempted from the ‘no vax, no ride’ policy. Very clear ‘yan, so there should be no reason to doubt or to question the policy… Exempted po ang mga workers natin,” said Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III in a virtual briefing with Nograles on Tuesday.

“They are rendering essential services. Pag hininto mo mga ‘yan, paano gagalaw ang ating mga negosyo? ‘Pag walang negosyo, walang ekonomiya, so luckily, exempted ang ating mga workers,” he added.
