OVP prepares for end of VP Leni’s term

According to her spokesperson, Vice President Leni Robredo’s office (OVP) is prepared for the transfer of ‘whomever’ is named as the new vice president.

According to lawyer Barry Gutierrez, they are preparing for the end of Robredo’s term on June 30, but no one has contacted them yet.

(Well, we are preparing. First of all, of course, the office needs to be in good shape for the end of VP Leni’s term on June 30. As far as I know, nobody has reached out yet, just right because no proclamation has taken place yet.)

“But definitely, ‘yung OVP, bilang opisina ay handa na at patuloy na naghahanda for the transition. At kung sino man ang magde-declare na ating bagong Bise Presidente ay kami ay makikipagtrabaho, kami ay makikipagtulungan, to make the transition as smooth and as easy as possible,” Gutierrez said.

(But definitely, the OVP, as an office, is ready and continues to prepare for the transition. And whoever declares our new Vice President, we will work, we will work together, to make the transition as smooth and as easy as possible.)

Robredo’s presidential campaign will end on June 30. Gutierrez previously stated that they will accept the election results anyway but want some issues fixed.

Meanwhile, presumptive Vice President Sara Duterte called for a stop to politicking.

(With the campaign and elections over, it’s time to forget division’s colors. Let’s end politicking. All those elected to office must take the lead in ensuring that all Filipinos-whether supporters or not. no – will be given the right service.)
