Police arrested two men who used an online gay dating app not just to find sexual partners but also sell illegal drugs. Authorities caught the suspects during a drug buy-bust operation in Project 4, Quezon City.
According to reports, the suspects process their transactions through an online gay dating app.
Through a cop who pretended to be a buyer, authorities found that “chemfum” means having sex while doing drugs. As a result, the police planned the buy-bust operation against a target suspect, who is a male nurse.
Authorities confirmed the illegal transaction at A. Luna Street in Project 4 on Wednesday night.
Police arrested the target suspect and another male who was his shabu supplier.
According to police, the two are using the online gay dating app not only for sex but to sell illegal drugs.
The police also said the suspects use code names for the illegal drugs during transactions.
“May iba salitang salita. Halimbawa droga. Sasabihin nila missile o rocket,” said Police Lt. Colonel Jeffrey Bilaro, Project 4 police station commander.
(They use different names. For example, drugs. They will say missile or rocket.)
Authorities seized four grams of the alleged shabu with a street value of P27,500 from the suspects.
The male nurse admitted that he had been using shabu for two months but denied that he was a drug pusher.
