Starting Wednesday, September 1, the use of the “one health pass” will begin for quick coordination with Philippine entrants from other countries.
But how to use it?
First, you must register at www.onehealthpass.com.ph a few days before the trip and click the register button.
Otherwise, OFWs must book at the DOT-accredited quarantine hotel listed on the website.
The electronic health declaration checklist must be completed where the passenger will receive a QR code.
Upon arrival at the airport, enter the QR code at the Bureau of Quarantine.
Upon arrival at the quarantine facility, the QR code must be presented to the hotel when checking in and taking a swab test.
The trial for one health pass is only two weeks away but it is said that the flow of passengers from other countries is better.
Bureau of Quarantine Deputy Director Dr. Roberto Salvador, Jr. asked Filipino repatriates to fill out the one health pass form.
“Nakikiusap po kami sa lahat po ng kababayan natin na uuwi ng Pilipinas, siguraduhin po na mag-fill up po tayo, pumunta tayo sa OneHealthPass para po hindi po kayo mahirapan sa proseso,” he said.

Meanwhile, Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) have been affected by Hong Kong’s 2 -week ban on Philippine Airlines (PAL) flights, a group of Filipino workers in the said territory said Monday.
On Sunday, 1 day before Hong Kong opens to vaccinated OFWs, the government there banned the reception of PAL passengers for 2 weeks or until September 11th.
After seeing 3 out of 7 imported COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong on Sunday from the Philippines on a PAL plane.
According to the BAYAN group in Hong Kong and Macau, this has affected the sending of OFWs to Hong Kong, especially making it difficult to schedule flights.
“‘Yong mawalan ka ng isang airlines that are allowed to bring in passengers, malaki impact,” said BAYAN Hong Kong and Macau Chairperson Eman Villanueva.
“May ka-exchange ako ng message na kababayan natin, parang third time na niya na na-cancel ang flight via PAL so stranded talaga siya diyan,” said Villanueva.
