Naked man goes berserk in hotel lobby in Cubao

A naked man went berserk in the lobby of a hotel in Cubao, Quezon City, early Thursday morning.

The security guard and receptionist at the hotel said the guest first went down to the lobby to check out, but he was not given a key, so he was kept waiting for a while.

“Maya’t maya lumapit siya samin naka-hubo’t hubad so para maiwasang mapahiya siya or baka may pumasok na pamilyang may bata, pinipilit namin siyang pumasok sa gilid. Na parang sasaktan na niya sarili niya, di na namin maintindihan ang sinasabi niya,” said Jolly Arino, security guard at the hotel.

(After a while, he came to us naked, so to avoid embarrassing him or maybe a family with a child came in, we forced him to enter from the side. As if he was going to hurt himself, we couldn’t understand what he was saying.)

The ABS-CBN News team found the man inside his hotel room, already dressed and surrounded by police and barangay officials.

But he still seems to be out of his wits. He still couldn’t be identified because the police didn’t get an ID, and when asked what his name was, he said he was the Son of God.

Authorities also discovered suspected illegal drugs on his desk and a plastic syringe in the trash.

Meanwhile, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested a 31-year-old man for raping his cousin.

The police tracked down the suspect in Pasay City, where he was selling cellphone accessories.

According to the police, the crime occurred in 2020 in Las Piñas City.

QCPD Station 1 also considers the suspect Top 6 Most Wanted.

The suspect denied the allegation against him. He is currently detained at QCPD Station 1.
