Lovella Maguad, mother of the slain Maguad siblings, still does not fully accept the law that allegedly protects minor suspects.
In a Facebook post on April 19, she said she did not want to hold responsible for how they raised the suspects by their parents because it was still the “choice” of the suspects to kill.
“I don’t want to hold the accountability kung paano sila pinalaki ng mga magulang nila o naghiwalay ‘yung magulang nila o kung gaano sila kahirap. It’s their choice dahil diyan din po kami galing pero mas pinili namin maging masipag, matino at maging mabuting tao,” said Lovella.
“Perpetrators have tried to be schooled sa private school, mga anak ko nga public school since grade 1. Kaya huwag ninyong gawing rason ‘yan para i-justify na okay lang,” she added.
The mother also said not to use poverty or having a broken family to be acquitted of wrong things done. She said there are many poor and broken families but good people.

“Huwag ninyong gamitin ang KAHIRAPAN o BROKEN family o kung ano pang social problems ninyo para maabswelto kayo sa inyong kompromiso. Sana noon pa naituro na ‘yan na mag ingat ka especially kung pobre na hindi ka maka damage ng ano mang bagay o tao kaya wala kang pambayad. Hindi mo puwedeng sabihin ay mahirap po kami SORRY. Marami rin namang mga labeled MAHIRAP o from BROKEN families na mabuting tao, may magandang puso at matitino,” she said.
Lovella and Cruz Maguad are now gathering strength for the Promulgation of judgment in the next 30 days.
“We would be losing the chance for the perpetrators to narrate their confessions over and over for the jury to realize that the ones who killed you ate and boyboy are not humans but monsters. I wish for them to see how these perpetrators grew, cared, and nurtured by the law to be the worst kind of human beings,” said Lovella.
However, the mourning mother again questioned the law that allegedly protects the minor suspects who killed Crizzlle Gwynn and Crizvlle Louis.
