Many celebrities win in 2022 elections

Many celebrities ran in the recent elections on Monday, May 9, 2022, and some of them are shining stars and can win government positions.

A big surprise to many is Robin Padilla’s lead in the unofficial count in the senatorial race with more than 26 million votes as of Tuesday noon.

It seems vague that he will be removed from the top spot because he has only about three million people in second place, and almost 98 percent of the election returns go to the Comelec media server.

However, we still have to wait for the official count to be done by the Comelec and the declaration of the winners of the national positions.

Aside from Robin, broadcasters Loren Legarda and Raffy Tulfo thrive in the senatorial race.

Former actor Jinggoy Estrada is 12th and last in the winning circle or magic 12 in the senatorial race with 14,911,486 votes.

It is not yet clear if former vice president Jojo Binay, who is in 13th place with 13,137,946 votes, will be able to catch his vote because there are still ERs to come.

On the other hand, Karla Estrada has a chance to sit as a partylist representative if her partylist group Tingog gets three seats in the House of Representatives.
