Mommy Dionisia fears Pacquiao will run out of money this election

For Senator Manny Pacquiao, there is no other place that is best to launch his campaign than in his hometown — in General Santos City. He first had a caravan at 1:00 pm, starting from Barangay Bawing to the Oval Plaza Grandstand in the actual proclamation rally.

His running mate as vice president is former Manila City Mayor and now Deputy Speaker Lito Atienza, under the PROMDI party. This Cebu-based political party seeks to sway the vote of Visayas and Mindanao.

“Dito nagsimula ang pangarap ni Manny Pacquiao, noong bata pa siya, na matulungan at makaahon sa kahirapan, matulungan ang kamag-anak at lahat para umasenso sa buhay,” said Pacquiao.

One by one, the senator candidates gave their messages, plans, and platforms, including Senator Win Gatchalian’s proxy beauty queen-turned-actress Bianca Manalo.

One of the program’s highlights was the speech of his mother, Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, who entertained everyone.

She said that when her son first jumped into politics, she was apprehensive because he might run out of money, which he won in boxing and other businesses.

“Noong tumatakbo pa siya for the first time dito sa General Santos, umiyak ako kasi ilang sako na ng pera ang nakita kong nawala,” said Mommy D.

“Sabi pa ng mga amiga ko, ‘Mommy, ang anak mo bigay nang bigay ng pera, baka maubos ang kuwarta!’”

“Tapos ito presidente na, sabi ko ‘Manny, iba na talaga to kasi buong bansa na, mas malaki pa sa bariles [tuna] ng GenSan!” said the ‘PacMom.”

It is said that many have noticed that the ‘National PacMom’ rarely shows up, especially since her senator son will be embarking on another fight — not in boxing, but the fierce battle for the presidency in the upcoming 2022 elections.

Recently, ‘Billionaire Ph’ reported on January 30, 2022, that Pacman was already selling his Forbes Park mansion.

According to Vic Agustin, the mansion has three different prices: ₱ 2.3B, ₱ 2B, and the final price is ₱ 1.95B. The ‘Zen-inspired’ property was allegedly sold by Pacman for ₱ 400M in 2011 and underwent several renovations.
