“Last May 11 when we got home from work, napansin namin na si Pia is matamlay.. But prior to that day mejo nagstart n syang pumayat, pero ang inisip namin is picky eater kasi ever since si Pia so hindi tlga sya ganon kalakas kumain at maselan sya kumain pero masigla sya, makulit, bibo kaya ang thinking nmin is need lang tlga mag focus na pakainin sya ng maayos,” she said.

She added her husband brought Sophia to Pacific Global Medical Center since the child was not getting well. The attending pediatrician prescribed them ascorbic acid, multivitamins, and deworming.

They spent seven hours in the emergency room. She told the doctor about their history of diabetes. The doctor said Sophia’s blood and urine test results were normal. She also showed the child’s breathing, but the doctors said it was normal for her age.

They were sent home and told to continue the medicines first prescribed. The child was still talking and walking when they went to the hospital.
