Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario – or better known as VeeWise – are one of the sharpest tandems in the country’s Mobile Legends scene.
Before their championship run in Season 7 with Blacklist International, they had some trials to go through.
Part of this was their release from the Onic PH team after Season 6 when they took 4th place. For the two, they can consider their championship run “redemption.”
For OhMyV33nus, who was immediately crowned captain of Blacklist International upon his entry into the team, he was complacent that they would get the crown this season.
“For me parang ordinary lang, kasi all this time naniniwala ako sa sarili ko na kayang-kaya ko mag-champion. Even yung fall down ko alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi ako problema, which is I think iyon ang napatunayan ko nitong Season 7,” said OhMyV33nus at a post-match press conference.
Blacklist International clinched the title in Season 7 of the MPL after defeating Execration by a score of 4-3. VeeWise has been a big part of their signature plays, particularly if they use the support of Estes and marksman Granger.
OhMyV33nus also relies on Estes when the team works on their “UBE (Ultimate Bonding Experience) Strategy” to win team fights.

Wise, on the other hand, admitted that he was overwhelmed by his team move. But what strengthened him was the confidence of his teammates this season.
“Na-down talaga ako sa Season 6 MPL-6 kasi alam ko na sobrang hindi ko … Ayun from week 1 hanggang playoffs tapos champion, naniwala ‘yung kakampi ko sa akin. Parang kapatid ko [sila]. Kaya ayun. Naniwala ako sa sarili ko,” said Wise.
Their allegedly limited hero pool was criticized by critics in the community when they entered Blacklist International.
OhMyV33nus did not budge here. Even Wise chose this Season 7 of Aldous, which is not commonly used by other teams in the professional league today. It will be recalled that Wise usually uses Granger.
But for head coach Bon “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza, Season 7 proved that VeeWise’s hero pool had not been an obstacle.
