Pambansang Kamao and former senator Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring and wear gloves to fight in an exhibition match that will allegedly take place this coming December.
Pacquiao will face Korean YouTuber DK Yoo in the said exhibition match. But no other details have been released yet.
In an Instagram post, Yoo announced Thursday that their fight with the former senator would take place on December 10.
The two are set to sign the contract for the exhibition fight on July 20.
In June, Yoo posted a video of him with Pacquiao with the caption, “Contract with Pacquiao Highlights.”
The Filipino eight-division world champion will retire from boxing in September 2021, two months after losing to Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight championship.
At the same time, he was preparing to run for president in the May election, where he lost.
DK Yoo is a sports and fitness instructor and founder of the Warfare Combat System.
In September 2021, Manny Pacquiao confirmed his retirement from boxing, hanging up his gloves for good and ending his nearly three-decade career.

“Retire na (I’m retired),” Pacquiao told The Freeman and Banat News.
The boxing champ first revealed his retirement during his interview with Toni Gonzaga on “Toni Talks” last September 20. This was minutes after he announced that he would run for president next year.
“Boxing career ko? Tapos na ’yung boxing career ko (My boxing career? It’s over).”
“Tapos na. Kasi matagal na din ako sa pagbo-boxing. ‘Yung pamilya ko laging sinasabi ‘tama na.’ Nagtuloy-tuloy lang ako kasi passionate ako sa sport na ito (It’s done. Because I’ve been in boxing for a long time. My family has always been convincing me to retire. I just continued because I’m very passionate about this sport),” Pacquiao said.
The world champion ran for president in May but lost to President Bongbong Marcos.
Manny Pacquiao is the only eight-division world champion in the history of boxing and has won twelve major world titles.
