Man arrested for spreading sensitive videos, pictures of ex-gf

The authorities arrested a man who allegedly spread the private photos and videos of her ex-girlfriend.

In a report by Jun Veneracion on GMA News “24 Oras” this Friday, the suspect was no longer on the loose when he was arrested by personnel of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group during the entrapment operation.

According to the victim, the suspect sent her private photos and videos to her relatives when they were separated.

The suspect wanted them to get back together until they broke up again this December.

This time, her co-worker was the one who sent her private photos and videos, so she decided to report.

“Mabuti sana [kung] pictures na wala ang mukha ko, pati video eh. Buti sana kung isa lang, ang dami. Sobrang pag-aapak na ginawa niya, pagkababae ko sobrang ubos na,” the victim said.

The suspect will face multiple complaints, including the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act and Grave Coercion.

“Ginamitan pa niya ng ICT so one degree higher na naman ang penalty niyan. So kung 6 to 12 years ang penalty niyan, magiging 12 to 20 years ‘yan ‘pag nasintensyahan siya ng korte,” said PNP-ACG Cyber Response Unit Chief Police Colonel Jay Guillermo.

Child dead after being run over by an ambulance transporting a patient to Negros

An eight-year-old boy who was run over by an ambulance in Negros Occidental died on Christmas day itself.

In the report of GMA News “Unang Balita” this Friday, it was said that the incident happened in Barangay Rizal in the town of Silay on the eve of Christmas.

According to the police, the ambulance was transporting a patient in Bacolod City when the boy suddenly crossed the street.

The boy was rushed to the hospital, but he died on Christmas day due to severe head injuries.

The ambulance driver surrendered, and both sides reportedly talked.

The boy’s family did not make a statement while the driver was released.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old woman did not escape the accident even though she was crossing the pedestrian lane after she was hit by a speeding truck in Tiaong, Quezon.

In a report by Paul Hernandez on GMA Regional TV News this Thursday, a CCTV camera shot in Barangay Lusacan shows the victim called “Apple” and a friend crossing the pedestrian lane on Tuesday.
