Therefore, he said, local governments must take action to prevent the increase in dengue cases.

In Santa Rosa City, Mayor Arlene Arcillas has mobilized the City Health Office to determine where the mosquito-infested areas are.

The fogging operations of the City Health Office also continue.

“Talagang naghahanap yung city health office natin ‘yung sanidad, even ‘yung disaster risk reduction management council mayroong parang hanap kitikiti tapos may inilalagay kami doon.

At Santa Rosa Community Hospital, Pinky Alcantara’s 10-year-old stepdaughter has been confined for 4 days.

The child first experienced fever and vomiting, so he took the child to the hospital, where it was confirmed that he had dengue.

This is the second time the child has had dengue, the first time, he was only 3 years old.

“According to doctor, nasa critical condition ‘yung kaniyang platelets.

According to the Laguna Provincial Health Office, people aged 10 to 19 are affected by dengue.
