Kurt Teves wants to apologize for punching security guard – brother

The family of Kurt Teves, the son of Negros Oriental Representative Arnolfo Teves Jr., has reached out to the security officer he attacked over the weekend and has asked for forgiveness.

According to Katrina Son’s “24 Oras” article, Axl Teves’ brother Kurt felt horrible about the incident when he was denied access into their subdivision because his SUV lacked the required sticker.

Kurt Teves wanted to apologize to village watchman Jomar Pajares, according to Axl.

Pajares stated that he was concerned for his and his family’s safety following the incident.

“Hihingi po kami ng patawad sa lahat ng pagkakamali ng brother ko. ‘Yung brother ko po mismo kakausap sayo. Sasamahan ko. I understand natatakot ka dahil naging malaking issue na ito pero in behalf of my family and my brother Kurt I want you to know na willing na willing kami na kumausap sayo nang maayos kung saan mo gusto. Isama po ko kung sino ka comfortable,” Axl Teves said.

Axl made it clear that his brother is prepared to face the consequences of his conduct and that their family will neither frighten nor dissuade Pajares from pursuing charges.

They do, however, wish to speak with him to achieve “peace” between them.

“Boss, hindi ko sinasabi na kausapin ka namain para hindi ka na magkaso or whatever. Ang mali po ay mali. Pero ang gusto namin as human beings, mag-peace na po tayo,” he said.

He then urged people to keep their other family members out of the situation, emphasizing that Kurt Teves is an “adult” who should be held “responsible for his conduct.”

“Before anything, bago tayo manghusga alamin muna natin ang full story. ‘Yun ang pinaka important and I’m asking the netizens please avoid including other family members of Kurt because hindi naman kami kasali sa nangyari. Not even my father, because Kurt is an adult. He is responsible of his actions not my family,” Axl said.

The BF Federation of Homeowners Associations Inc. (BFFHAI) expressed support for Axl’s intentions but stated that the formal charges must be filed first.
