KC Concepcion in her latest vlog introduced Fil-Am rapper apl.de.ap, real name Allan Pineda Lindo as a “great, great friend.”
The Black Eyed Peas member was KC’s guest on her online cooking show “Kitchen Collabs” last Saturday, Oct. 31, which streams on Instagram Live. Apl.de.ap is in London while KC is in Tagaytay.
KC Concepcion said that she would make dessert Kampampangan delicacy tibok-tibok (milk pudding) for the first time with the help of apl.de.ap, who was born in Pampanga.
“Everybody who’s been asking for this, this is your treat. Because it is Halloween over here,” she said.
“Today will be the day. The very, very first dessert day. And I want to invite over my very special guest of the day,” she said. “He’s a great, great friend of mine, very sweet, and very, very thoughtful.”
“He has supported a lot of artists from the Philippines and really introduced them outside. And I’m so, so grateful to know him and them all the boys from the group [Black Eyed Peas].”

Towards the end of her vlog, KC said she was “always in L.A.” and that she will finish her gemology studies there.
“And maybe one day, I can check out your local garden,” she said, about his garden where he plans to grow lemons, oranges and calamansi.
“Can’t wait,” Apl.de.ap said.
KC Concepcion and Apl.de.ap have been romantically linked with each other since 2019. However, the two neither confirmed nor denied the status of their relationship.
In September, KC Concepcion received one of the most astonishing surprises after “Hips Don’t Lie” singer Shakira sent her a video greeting.
“Hey, KC. A little birdie told me that you like my music. Thank you so much. I wanted to say hi and congratulate you on your new cooking show. I hope it goes really well. I wish you the best of luck,” Shakira said.
In her Instagram post, KC revealed it was Black Eyed Peas’ apl.de.ap, who was behind the surprise video. She also thanked Shakira for her encouragement.
