Kate Jagdon confirmed that she and her girlfriend, Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez, broke up after almost seven years of being a couple.
Kate shared past few weeks have been the most “difficult” time of her personal life.
“It was a conscious decision to keep quiet, after all, this is a personal matter and I chose my privacy above everything else,” she said.
“Bea and I have parted ways,” she admitted. “I am simply taking this step to move forward and go on with my life. Nothing more.”
Kate Jagdon thanked her family and friends for supporting her during the “difficult time.”
“And I know you will continue to do so as I take the road to healing.”
“We all go forward with love and respect, and I wish Bea the best of luck in her journey. At this moment, please respect my privacy, and this will be the last time I will address the issue. Thank you.”
Bea Luigi Gomez first introduced Kate to the public as her girlfriend during the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Interview Challenge last August 30.
Bea and Kate have been open about their relationship, posting sweet photos on their respective social media accounts. However, their pictures with each other on Instagram now appeared to have been taken down.

Beatrice Luigi Gallarde Gomez is a Filipino model, community development worker, athlete, military sergeant, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
Making history as the first openly bisexual woman who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines, she will represent the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant in Eilat, Israel in December 2021.
In January 2021, she completed the citizens military course training of the Philippine Army Reserve Command in Eastern Visayas which allowed her to be part of the Philippine Navy Reserve Unit, with the rank of corporal. In October 2021, Gomez was promoted to sergeant.
Meanwhile, Kate Jagdon is a DJ and an entrepreneur. She started her own makeup business “Karesh Beauty & Lifestyle.” She also joined Miss Silka Cebu in 2012 and worn first runner-up.
