Karla Estrada allegedly removed Magandang Buhay

Netizens speculate that Kapamilya host Karla Estrada has been removed from her morning show Magandang Buhay.

This is after the Magandang Buhay official Twitter account replaced its cover photo with Momshie Jolina Magdangal, Momshie Melai Cantiveros and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.

On Monday, Karla Estrada was formally launched as part of the UniTeam led by presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos and vice-presidential candidate Sara Duterte.

On October 2021, Estrada filed her certificate of candidacy (COC) as the third nominee of the Tingog Party-List in the May 2022 elections.

“Hindi ito naging madaling desisyon para sa akin at para sa aking pamilya. Pero dahil nandyan kayo at ang buong Tingog Party List, panatag po ako na kakayanin ko. Walang iwanan. Sama-sama tayo,” Estrada then said.

This is why many ABS-CBN supporters criticized Karla Estrada alongside Toni Gonzaga, who is also a Kapamilya artist. Gonzaga later announced she resigned as Pinoy Big Brother host.

On November 21, 1974, Estrada was born in Tacloban City to a Filipino mother and an American father. Shortly after that, her father left after being misinformed that Karla had died at birth.

According to an episode in Maalaala Mo Kaya featuring accounts of her life, Estrada was born to a wealthy family but was forced to move to Tacloban after her grandfather’s death. The latter was responsible for most of the livelihood of the family. Estrada aspired to become an actress since childhood and joined singing competitions. A talent manager discovered her in Quezon City, which led to her appearance in That’s Entertainment.

Estrada is the mother of Daniel Padilla, whom she had at the age of 20; her son’s father is Rommel Padilla. Estrada brought Daniel to see Rommel Padilla in prison three years later. She had three children, Jose Carlito, whom she had at the age of 21 with Naldy Padilla, Margaret, and Carmella from different fathers.

At age 18, Estrada looked for her father, who later apologized for not knowing that her birth was successful. In 2016, she stated that she is on good terms with her father, describing herself as his “carbon copy.”
