Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian was fourth in the survey with 75% followed by Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro who got 72%.

The survey was conducted on December 5 to 15, in which about 3,500 respondents aged 18 to 70 participated. They were all residents and registered voters in Metro Manila.

Participants were asked to rate their respective mayors regarding the performance of their city or area for the year 2020.

According to Paul Martinez of RPMDin, the number of respondents was evenly distributed, based on official population data in cities in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Belmonte, Sotto, and Moreno also became the top 3 mayors in a survey conducted by the group last June regarding the proactive response to the COVID-19 crisis in their constituencies.

Martinez said Metro Manila mayors should always think they are being reviewed daily, weekly, and monthly. It is easy for the public to see if their LGU is in action, marking them based on the latest information and their actual response to the needs of their constituents.

Respondents were also asked after rating their mayor on the performance of the job, whether or not their mayor will vote if they run in the next election, and in the result, the three still lead.

Sotto got 77 percent yes (to vote), Belmonte followed with 75%, and Moreno with 72%.

Meanwhile, only Moreno was included in the list of 16 potential presidential candidates for the 2022 national and local polls a research firm released.
