Actor Joshua Garcia has already put an end to speculations about him and basketball player Trina Guytingco.
“Si Trina, tropa ‘yon. Barkada ‘yon namin nila Daniel (Padilla). Nagkataon lang siguro nung time na ‘yon siyempre partner-partner sila eh kami ang parehas single kaya yung tropa-tropa namin medyo may pag-push. Pero tropa ‘yon si Trina,” Garcia said in a report released by PEP.
“Congratulations nga pala kay Trina kasi nasa SEA Games siya ngayon eh. Naglalaro siya ng basketball,” he added.
In March, the news that linked Garcia and Guytingco broke out after their photos appeared on social media.
This was when Garcia shared a photo of him and Guytingco on his own Instagram Stories taken during Kathryn Bernardo’s birthday celebration in El Nido, Palawan.
Guytingco, Bernardo’s best friend, grew up in California. Guytingco is a member of the Ateneo de Manila University women’s basketball team in the UAAP.
Meanwhile, Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia are reuniting – onscreen.
“I’m going to do a movie with Josh under (production company) Black Sheep this year,” Julia said.
Joshua Garcia reveals real score with Trina Guytingco
Julia reminisced about her previous works with Joshua in the interview with Boy Abunda, stating she felt chemistry with him from the minute they shot their first scene together in the film Vince, and Kath, and James.
“With Josh, that was our first film together. I remember from the first day, Tito Boy, after the first scene, I went back to the tent and I told my team, I was like, ‘I’ve never felt this kind of chemistry with anybody that I’ve worked with. Good things will only come from here,” she shared.
Julia and Joshua Garcia appeared in several other films, including I Love You To The Stars and Back, Unexpectedly Yours, I Love You, Hater, and Block Z.
They also began an off-screen relationship; however, they broke up in 2019. Julia stated at the moment that they would remain best friends.
Julia then confirmed her relationship with Between Maybes co-star Gerald Anderson, while Joshua starred in The Killer Bride alongside Janella Salvador.
