Jennica Garcia, Alwyn Uytingco might get back together

After they separated in May, Jennica Garcia announced that she and her estranged husband Alwyn Uytingco are talking again.

In the Chika Minute report by Lhar Santiago on GMA News “24 Oras” on Thursday, the Kapuso actress said that she and Alwyn are talking about the possibility of getting back together.

“I am very thankful to Jesus because he heard my prayers. He gave me what I was waiting for—Alwyn to come back for us,” said Jennica.

“He expressed his desire for family restoration,” Jennica added who would have an episode in “Wish Ko Lang” with Rafael Rosell and Sheree.

Jennica first clarified that money was not the reason for their separation. He also did not want his ex-husband to look bad.

In previous Instagram posts, Alwyn apologized to Jennica. He also admitted he misses their daughters Athena Mori and Alessi.

In May, Jennica Garcia has confirmed split with husband Alwyn Uytingco after 7 years of marriage.

The Kapuso actress however refused to give further details regarding their separation.

“That’s the most that I could say right now. That’s the most that I can say now. It’s the reason din kasi talaga kung bakit kinailangan [ko] bumalik sa pag-a-artista (It’s also the reason why I really needed to get back to acting),” she said.

She added, “From a family-of-four, we are now just a family-of-three, sacrifices must really be made.”

“For the past seven to eight years, what I did was, I made this decision to really focus on my kids, and to do that, hindi talaga ako puwede gumawa ng teleserye kasi three times a week ang taping noon (For the past seven to eight years, what I did was, I made this decision to really focus on my kids, and to do that, I really couldn’t do television series because taping was thrice a week),” the actress said.
