A German who attacked an Irishman after catching him in bed with his ex-girlfriend faces a complaint of frustrated murder.
Jaroslaw Graczyk, aged 51, launched the attack in Barangay San Isidro, San Francisco, Camotes, Cebu, at about 6.30am yesterday (Sunday, August 6).
The suspect claims he discovered David Rose, aged 56 from Limerick, sleeping with his ex-girlfriend.
According to the SunStar, Graczyk attacked Mr Rose with a shank of wood, “hitting the victim in different parts of his body”. The extent of Mr Rose’s injuries are not known, but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
The Filipina, who was the subject of Graczyk’s jealous rage, escaped and ran to a local police station to seek assistance.
