Iglesia ni Cristo endorses Arjo Atayde

The religious group ‘Iglesia ni Cristo’ endorsed Kapamilya actor and running congressman in the first district of Quezon City, Arjo Atayde.

Arjo happily extended his gratitude to the INC leadership.

“I thank INC from the bottom of my heart for trusting and supporting my dream to serve my kababayans in QCD1,” said Atayde, who was always number one in the survey in district 1 of QC.

“We only have a few days left before the elections, and I am encouraging everyone to vote wisely. The future is in our hands, and may the Lord bless the upcoming elections. It is my prayer to have a peaceful and honest elections, and may the most deserving leaders be elected to lead us for the betterment of our lives.”

Arjo is with #TeamAksyonAgad under candidate and current QC mayor Mayor Joy Belmonte.

His family and friends in showbiz fully support Arjo’s run. Ynez Veneracion, Eric Nicolas, KD Estrada, and Bayani Agbayani can be seen performing at his sortie.

Arjo used the tagline of ABS-CBN last Christmas, ‘Andito Tayo Para sa Isa’t isa’.

His award-winning actress mother, Sylvia Sanchez, admitted that she was skeptical of her son’s decision at first. Still, she saw its sincerity to help her fellow citizens, so she eventually supported it.

So Arjo Atayde is very grateful to his mother Sylvia, for her all-out support.

Arjo carries as a platform the focus on the education, employment, healthcare, women’s rights, youth, and LGBTQ+ community sectors.

Meanwhile, apart from Arjo Atayde, INC officially announced on Tuesday, March 3, that they will support the presidency and vice presidency are former Senator Bongbong Marcos, Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte well as some of their fellow candidates for senatorship of the UniTeam.

Their senatorial endorsements from UniTeam are former Senator Jinggoy Estrada, re-electionist Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, Antique Rep. Loren Legarda, former DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, and re-electionist Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri.

The other senators endorsed by Iglesis Ni Cristo are former Vice President Jejomar Binay, Taguig Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano, retired PNP Chief Guillermo Eleazar, former Senator JV Ejercito, Sorsogon Gov. Francis Escudero, actor Robin Padilla, and re-electionist Senator Joel Villanueva.
