How to register SIM cards starting December 27

Filipino SIM card registration will begin on Tuesday, December 27. This is in accordance with the SIM Card Registration Law, signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in October.

The law will help to reduce the incidents of crimes and scams carried out through text messages as well as spam messages, according to Marcos.
